Photographed at the Brandenburg Gate and outside the Embassy of India in Berlin in July 2026, this series documents members of the Indian diaspora gathering in solidarity with students in India. Through placards, speeches and collective protest, demonstrators called for institutional accountability, meaningful reform and a more equitable education system. Moving between one of Berlin’s most recognisable public landmarks and the diplomatic space of the Indian Embassy, the demonstrations transformed both locations into sites of political expression, connecting student struggles in India with voices of solidarity across the diaspora.
